After downloading DaVinci Resolve 14 from here, you should follow the instructions in the PDF to install it. However, to summarize you do

unzip -d davinci
cd davinci
sudo ./

After that's done, you can try running by running

However, you should get a bunch of errors to find shared libs. Looking around I found this how-to post that lists all the files you need to create/link to. To summarize again:

sudo apt-get install libssl-dev
sudo ln -s /usr/lib /usr/lib64
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ /usr/lib/
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ /usr/lib/
sudo ln -s /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ /usr/lib/
sudo ln -s /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ /usr/lib/

wget -q -O /tmp/libpng12.deb \
  && sudo dpkg -i /tmp/libpng12.deb \
  && rm /tmp/libpng12.deb

Then use the desktop shortcut, or tun /opt/resolve/bin/resolve and it should launch
